If This Be-- March MODOK Madness!
Photograph and photoshop credits go to Aleksey Nuzhnov on this one, but that's my mug in place of everyone's favorite mental organism's. This March, my friend, Pedro Delgado, and I are launching a blog dedicated to MODOK. The two of us will be drawing MODOK illustrations for the entire month and we invite those of you who are interested to join us. You can read the ground rules here. For more blog work by Pedro, go here. Please come visit this March.

North Korea Steps Up Giant, Killer Rectangle Program
IDAHO FALLS, ID- Kim Jong Il took one of his favorite giant, killer rectangles for a "mall crawl" yesterday at a local Idaho Falls shopping mall, stopping briefly at the food court to purchase a McDonaldland hot fudge sundae. Celebrations were cut short, however, when the rectangle became "crankypants", followed by a brief rampage that caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to public property. Fourteen mall patrons were injured in the ensuing chaos. The couple were last seen driving South on I-15 in their rented Ford Expedition. Officials remain "slightly concerned."
Hey kids! Would you like to train in the USAF to help combat the giant, killer rectangle invasion planned by the Axis of Evil™? Start training today!

Jorgen Poundhammer, Nordic Ne'er-do-well
Here's a viking warrior I promised my brother-in-law's nephew way back in November, when I was doodling up pics for him and his sister after the Thanksgiving holiday. Many apologies to JP, but hopefully I can get this puppy printed and on its way to the young man before next Thanksgiving. Before that happens, I have to start a princess drawing for Abigail to accompany the fierce Viking warrior, so as to not leave anyone out. Hopefully, Jorgen will be a perfect gentleman while riding in the same mailing tube up to New England, but a viking is a viking, after all.

Happy Saint Valentine's Day!
Hope everyone had a cozy and romantic St. Valentine's Day, except for you lonely types, who, I'm sure, just got drunk and sobbed yourselves to sleep while rocking in the fetal position. As for myself, I had a lovely night with the lady, in which I prepared a pretty decent meal. There were also high priced flowers involved. As well as all that, the image above was a self-designed card which Cara really dug, mainly because it depicts the beasties who roam Apt. 4R, doing their favorite activity: the snuggle. I guess it's love, unnatural male kitty love, but love nonetheless.

Who Knows What Evil Lurks In The Hearts Of Men?
The Shadow knows! Posting a day late, but apparently the famous marmot known as Punxsutawney Phil has prognosticated that we are in for 6 more weeks of winter after seeing his shadow early yesterday morning. Well, great. However, Phil's prediction is being refuted by other rodent soothsayers, including the more local Staten Island Chuck. Have to go with the local guy on this one, but really, they're freakin' woodchucks with no meteorological experience.
