Drawings From The Porch & Bus
Robot
Iron Man, Model I, Mark I
Goofball Guy
Unfinished Zombie
I've been tooling around with my red and blue pencils and came up with these beauties in their varying finished states, drawn either on my front porch or riding the enigmatic and thrilling RIPTA 60 to Providence and back. I've been trying to stay off the computer lately and do more sketching on paper, which I prefer more so on the porch than the bus. Below is a bonus, a crayon-drawn robot drawn on a paper placemat at A-1 Pizza, which is neither porch nor bus.

No Quarter Asked, None Given
Here's the flag that would fly from my mast were I a pirate. Pretty fierce.
I will be taking somewhat of a break from the blog this month, so you might not see many posts for June 2011. I'd like to try and get back to creating more by hand and refocusing on my own concepts. Drawing Thor and Luke Cage is fun and all, but after awhile, all you have is a pile of fan art. I miss the whacky stuff that spills out of me own noggin.
While the computer is a great tool, I find I rely on it too much. I'd like to rediscover some varied media and strengthen my drawing and composition skills. Besides, I have too much blank paper in the apartment.
Beyond that, it's a pirate's life for me. Yo ho.
