Let's Make A Deal...

From The Line It Is Drawn, week 241:
Based on a suggestion by Merk, mash-up a famous rock star with a comic book superhero. Mick Jagger and the Hulk, for instance.
Twitter follower, CraigOxbrow, suggested: Robert Johnson and Hellstorm.  Blues and the 1970's Son Of Satan? Couldn't pass that one up.

Wonder Woman As Requested By Amelia!

From The Line It Is Drawn: Week 240:
This is a special edition of the Line it is Drawn, so you don’t have to make suggestions for next week (since we already received them last week. Feel free to check back with us next week to make suggestions for Week 242). All the suggestions this week have been made by Amelia, a four year old Wonder Woman fan who also happens to the daughter of my friends Kristen and Jeff. The idea came to me when Kristen shared on Facebook, “Amelia, who wants to be an astronaut when she grows up, just told me, ‘Maybe in my spaceship I’ll hang up some pictures of Wonder Woman.'” So I had her mom ask Amelia for suggestions for cool things Wonder Woman could do, and, well, here we are.
I went with: Wonder Woman fights dinosaurs and monsters.

Cheers, Amelia!

The Infinity Zombie War

Didn't get this piece done for the week, but posting it here:

From The Line It Is Drawn, week 239:
In honor of Secret Wars #1 out next week, mash-up two famous Marvel storylines. So, for instance, Planet Hulk and Planet of the Symbiotes becomes Planet of the Hulk Symbiotes. Feel free to just write, say, Armor Wars + Age of Apocalypse, Ultron Unlimited + Clone Saga, etc.
A Twitter follower suggested: The Infinity War and Marvel Zombies.  This one got away from me, as deciding to do an homage to Infinity War #1, which was a three fold gate cover (I had to settle on 1/3), and the detail of corpsey rot took up some time.

Wackos

From The Line It Is Drawn, week 238:
Avengers Assemble! In honor of the Avengers fighting a great foe in their new movie next week, name an era of the Avengers and then name a villain you’d like to see them face, ANY villain, from any comic book company or even outside of comics, if you’d like. For instance, Roger Stern’s Avengers vs. Lex Luthor, John Byrne’s Avengers West Coast vs. Godzilla.
Twitter follower, Ecovore suggested: West Coast Avengers vs Swarm.  I loved the West Coast Avengers as a kid and always though they faced some pretty lame villains.  I guess Swarm would fit in there.

Danny Trejo

I wanted to draw Trejo.  So I did.  Sometimes you have to give into your momentary desires.

UPDATE:

Daniel Farley (@IwasThereMane) did a colored version of my initial twitter post:

Shroud TV Show...

From The Line It Is Drawn, week 237:
In honor of Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix, suggest Marvel TV shows that you don’t think we’ll ever see. Like U.S. 1…the TV series! Feel free to make casting suggestions, as well, if you’d like.
Twitter follower JohnnyUnusual suggested: The Shroud.  I banged this one out quick the day of.  Sigh.
