Wonder Boy: Inktober Days 21-30

Day 31 will be posted as I finish the next few pages.  The story ran longer than the month did.  Check back in during November to see more Wonder Boy goodness.  I hope you've enjoyed it thus far.

Head Games

From The Line It Is Drawn, Week 263:
It’s noir time! Pick a comic book character and our artists will draw them in noir style! This week is not JUST Noir Week, though. No, it is our third annual Sgt. John Munch Tribute Week!!
Twitter follower, JohnnyUnusual suggested: MODOK!  You know me and MODOK, I just can't resist him!  Though looking at the title I chose, I think HEAD CASE would have worked better.

Left Hand Comics

A student hurt his drawing hand today, so in solidarity, most of us tried drawing comics with our left hands.  Here's my result.

The Joker And ClownFace

From The Line It Is Drawn, Week 262:
In honor of the Joker’s 75th anniversary, pick a comic book character and our artists will draw that character with the Joker (whether teaming up or in conflict depends on the character, I suppose)
Twitter follower, LordAndrew suggested: Krusty the Clown.  Krusty apparently appeared in the old Batman television show as a guest-villain named ClownFace, as revealed in the "Large Marge" episode in season 14.  I thought it would be a hoot to give Caesar Romero, Adam West, and Burt Ward a shot in the Simpsons style. That's twice in as many weeks I've referenced the old TV show!

Back To The Future!!!

Today is the day when Marty arrives 30 years into his future!  Here's an animated Vine video I did for work.

Born To Bat

From The Line It Is Drawn, Week 261:
This month, Marvel is doing a series of special Hip Hop homage covers. So the theme is to suggest a comic book character and the cover of a famous hip hop/rap album
Twitter follower, KeithAlanMorgan, suggested: Batman & the Batmobile – Too $hort, Born to Mack.  Gotta go old school on this one with my favorite version of the car: the Barris-built Batmobile from the 1966 TV show.

Fruitful Choices

I'm teaching a comics class at the Tremont School on Fridays after school.  I ask the students for a prompt each week and try to work out a comic based on that for the following week, so I can show them my process.  During this class, a student suggested: A bunch of fruit arguing over who's next to be eaten.

Midlife Crisis Of The Pasta Persuasion

I'm teaching a comics class at the Tremont School on Fridays after school.  I ask the students for a prompt each week and try to work out a comic based on that for the following week, so I can show them my process.  During the first class, a student suggested: Spaghetti monster who's having a midlife crisis.
