Razorback

Razorback is a horrible character that first mixed it up with Spidey in "Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man" at some point in the 1970s. He's so lame that I absolutely love him. His real name is Buford Hollis, which rules, and he's the first comic character from Arkansas. He's a trucker, which also rules, and drives a rig called "The Big Pig". He wears a boar's head on his noodle that can shock you and has a beergut. The best detail though? He has the mutant ability to drive anything. ANYTHING. It could be a 1972 Ford Pinto or the Space Shuttle. He has the superhuman power to operate it. That totally rules in such a lame way. 10-4, good buddy.

  1. Ironically, Razorback can't fly a kite-go figure.

What he lacks in kite flying, he makes up in fashion awareness. Swine-head hoods are all the rage.

  3. Yeah, what's the care instructions for something like that? Dry Clean Only? Hand Wash? I'm sure Razorback doesn't care too much about appearance-thus the hog hat. Don't get me wrong,if I was at the local swap meet or yard sale, I would buy and sport a hog hat, if one was available to buy. Thanks for your blogs Brendan.

  4. James-

Now we know what to get you for Christmas. If you can find a hog-head-hat, I would bet it would be SoHo. Anyway, thanks for your support with comments on the ol' blog here. I enjoy seeing the work you have done this year on enginagogo as well. You definitely seem to be growing as an artist. Thanks again.

You think too low of yourself. Razorback sucks way more than you do. You rule in a non-sucky way. Yeah, rolling these villains out slowly and plan to do a lot more of them. Gotta finish a Bi-Beast and perhaps the Shaper of Worlds. Keep your eyes peeled.

  8. Gary-

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on the piece. I agree, it would be a great Halloween costume. However, most of the Halloween going crowd would not know who Razorback is. Maybe I should work on an actual headpiece. Hmmmmmm....

Rest assured you're not the only one who feels that way.
