For this week's The Line It Is Drawn, the broad topic was:

In honor of the annual March MODOK Madness (co-organized by our own Brendan Tobin), tweet us either a comic book character or a real life celebrity and tell us to “MODOK ‘em!”

A follower on Twitter suggested “Warhol's 25 colored Marilyns as MODOK.”  I researched his image, did some tweaking to her face in Photoshop, adding Kirby's rocket-chair from TOS 94 with some tweaks, and made further changes in the inking and coloring stage.  A very Warholian process overall.  Anyway, wish I had more time to add some silkscreening effects to it, but I'm happy with the creepiness of it all.

Dr. Doom Plays The Blame Game

Comic book characters playing sports! Batman shooting hoops, Captain America throwing a touchdown pass, etc.

A follower on Twitter suggested “Dr. Doom skiing.”  That Doom, always blaming Reed Richards for his own shortcomings!  A fun little doodle squeezed into too little time between jobs.  Sigh.  So sleepy.

I take a bus to work in the morning and all this month I will try to post what I come up with.  This one from a few trips on RIPTA's good ol' 64, from Gateway Center in Newport to Kingston Station in West Kingston, with service to URI.  Might as well do something other than look out the window.

Oh, That 90's Costume...

For this week's The Line It Is Drawn, the broad topic was:

In honor of Kelly’s recent post, name a male superhero that you’d like to see wearing a female superhero’s costume. Green Arrow in Wonder Woman’s outfit, etc.

A follower on Twitter suggested “The Thing in the '90s version of the Invisible Woman's costume.”  It really is a hideous and inappropriate costume and I had a lot of fun squeezing Ben Grimm in it.  So there you go.
