First Panda In Space
Here's a sketch the boys of The Slip asked for their summer tour t-shirts. If you check out their new album, "Eisenhower", there is an instrumental piece called "First Panda In Space", the subject of this piece. The log font and campfire ties the theme into summer tour. It eventually evolved into a poster down below (sans text) and then who knows? In any case, if you get a chance to see these guys play, I would highly recommend it. The Brothers Barr and Mr. Friedman are very talented fellows and are producing some great stuff these days.
Poster with rocket and trees.
Without trees.

Thanks man. The band manager preferred the one without trees as well. I guess it reads a little better.

Pedro-
It is amazing that not only can a Panda breathe in an oxygen depleted environment, but manage to start a campfire as well.

I so love this one. Now I have to go and buy a shirt.
Yeah Brendan-good stuff. I like the treeless verison and maybe a chinese flag armpatch? I love the panda. pandas in space! what next? falcons?
Hey Hsin-
Thanks for coming by! I don't know if this image went anywhere, but if it's on a shirt, I'll make sure you get one.
James-
I should have done a Chinese patch. Actually, just throwing the American Flag on there worried me a bit. I didn't want to add politics to this pic, but it serves as good detail. Maybe Falcon and his space steed, Steve, will make an appearance soon.
