In honor of Captain Marvel's release next week, mash-up Carol Danvers with a piece of pop culture (movie, book, TV show, song, dance, whatever) from the 1990s! Caanan Grall suggested this theme!

Twitter follower KeithAlanMorgan suggested: A '90s style extreme costume, all the cliches!  A little bit of Jim Lee, a lot of bit of Rob Liefeld, inappropriate costume choices with ninja swords on an obtainable body standard... and voila! Extreme 1990s Captain Marvel!

I wasn't able to color this puppy in and Brian added it at the 11th or hour (or 12th even), but a finished piece will come at you some day.
