Here's the latest challenge from the Masters of the Universe themed drawing challenge on Twitter, #MOTUdrawingchallenge hosted by @MOTUdrawing!

A very special Christmas robot edition: Roboto, heroic mechanical warrior!  I always did like Roboto.  He's a real mensch.

Enjoy!

The Wampa Wumble Bumble

From The Line It Is Drawn, December 20th, 2019:
I had another theme, but Caanan just NEEDED to get his Baby Yoda on, so the theme for next week is to mash up Star Wars with Christmas movies/specials
Twitter follower, werehawk1 suggested: A Wampa as the Abominable Snowman.  I went with the Bumble from Rudolph and added in a couple of buddies.

Simpsonize Me

Here are two examples of commissions I have done for people who asked for their family to be in the Simpson couch gag scene.  With thanks and apologies to Matt Groening, natch.

Action Kirby!

From The Line It Is Drawn, December 13th, 2019:
As part of our Fred Van Lente Day CSBG Takeover, Fred Van Lente has determine the theme for next week. It is Action COMIC BOOK CREATORS! Come up with a comic book creator (living or dead) and our artists will draw an Action version of them, like Fred and Ryan Dunlavey's acclaimed Action series of comics (Action Philosophers, Action Presidents, etc.). Oh, and of course, be sure to check out their Comic Book History of Comics, now discounted at Comixology!
Twitter followers, CraigJoly, JeffKeely and RandallJSanders suggested: Jack Kirby! I never give up a chance to draw something in the Kirby Style!

Tiny Terrible Tableside Comics 49

I recovered the tiny notebook these originate from finally, months after the move!  I had four blank pages left and filled them with terrible comics.  Here are two of them.

MOTU Drawing Challenge, Week 34: Frosta!

Here's the latest challenge from the Masters of the Universe themed drawing challenge on Twitter, #MOTUdrawingchallenge hosted by @MOTUdrawing!

Meet Frosta, because I just did.  I'm not at all well versed in the characters of Etheria that populate She-Ra's series, but Frosta here is an ice princess of some sort.  I went with the old school version and had fun making this one.

Enjoy!

The Line It Is Drawn: Thanksgiving Leftovers!

Time to play a little catch up here as we observe the annual ritual of The Line It Is Drawn's Thanksgiving Leftovers!

As posted here, the pieces are as follows:

•  From The Line It Is Drawn, September 14th, 2019:
In honor of the release of It, Chapter Two, pick a famous comic book cover that you'd like to see our artists hide Pennywise within!
A twitter follower suggested: Iron Man 128

•  From The Line It Is Drawn, April 26th, 2019:
In honor of Avengers Endgame and its endless theories, come up with an unlikely way for the Avengers to defeat Thanos!
A twitter follower suggested: Thanos in a Hostess ad.

•  From The Line It Is Drawn, March 8, 2019:

This one I include because though I got a piece in on time to be included that week, I was unable to color the thing.  In all it's glory, here is the colorized version.
In honor of Captain Marvel's release next week, mash-up Carol Danvers with a piece of pop culture (movie, book, TV show, song, dance, whatever) from the 1990s! Caanan Grall suggested this theme!
Twitter follower KeithAlanMorgan suggested: A '90s style extreme costume, all the cliches!

All in all, I had a pretty productive Line year this year with very few gaps in submissions from week to week.  I hope to get through the end of this year and we will see what tomorrow brings us.

Der Krampus!

...or whatever.  Here's a detail from a piece as yet to be released, but I figured I should share it for Krampus Nacht.

Celebrate your Christmas devil idol observance responsibly.

Zeebort-7 and Murphy

I've been trying to get my legs in Procreate with varied success, the piece above being one of them.  I downloaded some brushes and hope to purchase more.  This comic was made entirely in Procreate and will be included in Tolerable Tales of the Adequate vol. 2, which will be out next year.
