"In the Style of." You name a comic character and then name the artist you want to see that character drawn in. For instance, "Superman, in the style of Charles Schulz" or "Calvin and Hobbes, in the style of Todd McFarlane." Stuff like that. The more offbeat the better!

Lard Lad Lad

In honor of the Legion of Super-Heroes debuting on Supergirl on January 15th, name a comic book character that you would like to see be adapted into being a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes (Storm could be Weather Witch, Iceman could be Ice Lad, stuff like that).

The Joker And ClownFace

In honor of the Joker’s 75th anniversary, pick a comic book character and our artists will draw that character with the Joker (whether teaming up or in conflict depends on the character, I suppose)

Twitter follower, LordAndrew suggested: Krusty the Clown.  Krusty apparently appeared in the old Batman television show as a guest-villain named ClownFace, as revealed in the "Large Marge" episode in season 14.  I thought it would be a hoot to give Caesar Romero, Adam West, and Burt Ward a shot in the Simpsons style. That's twice in as many weeks I've referenced the old TV show!

Comic book characters, comic strip style! Our artists will draw comic book characters in comic strips based on the style of a famous comic strip. So you pick a comic book character and then name the comic strip style you’d like to see the character drawn like. Example: “Spider-Man, Peanuts style”

Thanks-dank-diddly-giving-a-rino!

Hey all! Did up a poster for good ol' Mark at the Abbey, where he's hosting the annual Abbey Simpsons Thanksgivathon, Sunday November 29th. Each year I pick out around 20 good Simpson episodes for a marathon watching at the bar. It's usually a crowd pleaser.

Since I was making the poster, I felt bad because I've owed my cousin, Anne, a Simpsons-esque portrait of her for like a year now (D'oh!). Since I was already warmed up by drawing some Simpson characters, I figure now was a good time to deliver. She even gave me crap about it via facebook when I was asking people to submit ideas for drawings (which you should all do).
