I found a sweet image of DC's Hawkman that Jack Kirby pencilled as a presentation piece for an unrealized Hawkman cartoon. I figured I'd give inking and coloring it a go and had some fun with it. Below is the inked image, done digitally, and at the bottom, Jack Kirby's original pencilled drawing found on the internet.
I loves me some Jack Kirby, so I hope to try and find more to ink, since my inking skills need improvement as well. I might try embellishing a Black Bolt drawing he did next, and whatever else I can find... Stay tuned.
