Bigfoot Jones: Forest Livin'

Original thumbnail sketch.

Another one-sheet, 8-page mini comic.  They are addictively fun.

March is Bigfoot Month over at Annex Comics!  Go support Wayne's efforts and see what's hanging up in the windows.  While you're there, buy lots of comics from him.  You deserve it.

Also, I think I just made up the word addictively.

No Idea Comics

Sigh.

A one-pager for Annex Comics #7.

Grampire And The Chairwolf

A big thanks to Nina for the "Grampire" prompt when we discussed ideas for me doing a Halloween comic.  I kind of ran with it and paired him with the Chairwolf.  The rest, as they say, was comic book history.

The Kill-Bots Of Zagnort-3 Saga

New 4-page comic for Annex Comics #5, available today at Annex Comics here in Newport, RI.  I went with robots because I received two different complaints that there were not enough robots in my art show.  Pfff, critics.

Ned Neptune, Hero Of The Deep!

Mr. Newport

With his salmon-colored shorts of might, docksiders of truth, and a flowing, tied-around-the-neck sweater cape, Mr. Newport, the man with wicked astounding abilities, is here to save the day and right the wrongs... all before cocktail hour!

This piece is featured with a few others of mine at the FRIENDS OF ANNEX: ART IS ALIVE group show at DeBlois Gallery.  Opening reception is tonight if anyone is out and about in the Newport/Middletown, RI area.

Crazy, Angry Grampa

One-pager for Annex Comics #2.

Mano, Hand Of Fate

Four pages of Mano, Hand Of Fate which I contributed to the anthology zine Annex Comics #1, available through Annex Comics here in Newport, RI!  The title of the character is a riff on the old horror movie from the '60s, Manos, The Hands Of Fate, which allegedly is one of the worst films ever made.

Announcing Tolerable Tales Of The Adequate #1

I printed up a mini-comic of a comic I had started for a 24-hour comics event a couple years ago for sale at the Annex Psychic Fair and Art Expo. Come on down tomorrow and check us out.

Issue one is 24 pages,  5.5" x 8.5".  One hundred issues were printed.  Stay tuned for the next one.

Psychic Fair And Comic Expo

Coming up on October 19th, Annex Comics here in Newport, RI is hosting a small comic expo of sorts.  Local talents will be offering wares and services as we try to hash out what it takes to host a mini-con.  I'll have art and comics at my own table available.

I did this poster up real quick, laying and manipulating type and cleaning up a pilfered, Kirby Professor X head from an old X-Men logo.  Also, I was going for a Rick Griffin look, but sacrificed style for legibility.
